Resolved Question

PS2 to USB connection

Aug 10, 2013 6:40PM PDT

I have a perfectly working Logitech keyboard and mouse working wirelessly from a receiver that is connected to the computer through the PS2 (two) connections, purple and green.
I wish to use it on a new computer that has only one PS2 connection.
Is it possible to alter the receiver connection to a usb connection?
Be grateful for helpful suggestions.

NO, time to move on

Since you're talking "PS/2" connections states this is a dated PC. The solution was made for PS/2 setup and things have changed. It would be far easier just to use USB entirely, skip any PS/2 anything on your newer PC. Cost and effort alone will dedicate that.

You are right. It is an old hat.
I have usb keyboard -mouse combo with my new computer but this key board and mouse had an 'old friend' connection .
I wondered if it were possible.
Thank you both for the help. Appreciated.

Yeah it would be easier to just use the USB by itself.

I'd try a USB receiver. See if your favorite computer shop has one with the right to return it if it doesn't work.
