proxy

i have a problem that seems to be an old one, the proxy servery keeps checking every time i uncheck it it comes back. i am using windows 10 pro although i had the same problem with the home version i was using. a large number of websites will not function properly and i am unable to download from most sites i have run malwarebytes total av and system mechanics virus and malware programs all show nothing. i am at a loss. i don't have a clue what to do any help would be appreciated

it was doing it without system mechanic being on the computer no address only a local host under advanced 64550 i deleted it but it came back also but there is no 127.0.0 address anywhere

i cleaned it with rogue killer and checked the proxy it wasn't checked but it came back . can you help me get rid of it

That's what Bleepingcomputer.com forums do. Here I limit myself to automated scans such as Grif lists out.

Bleepingcomputer uses an entirely different approach which seems to clean up what we suggest here. But at the cost of having to post there, wait a bit and follow their rules. That's not a high price in my view.
