They would tell you options to protect the product. Since I am not there to see the design I can't give you options. Over the years we've used cases, EM spray paint and even simple foil pouches to harden products.
My answer is get back to your electronics design team.
hello every body
in my company we produce an electronic card which has an antenna and msp430 microcontroller without any protection from EMI, in one test the antenna emit and receive RF ondes in a frequecy of 20Mhz, after this test we found that the msp430 has been damaged so my question is, is it possible that the EMI from the antenna is the cause of the damage especially that the microcontroller doesn't have any protection? and if it is possible can i found some product which protect the msp430 without changing any thing in the electronic schematic ( we prefer to don't put any armouring métal thing because it is hard and expensive we prefer some thing soft).
