Protect aginst DOS and DDOS

Hi!

I work in slovenian VDSL privider T-2 d.o.o. and wee hawe probem:

Wee want to prowide internet to IPTV, wee use:
- amino 110 and 130
- motorola VIP 150 and 1910,
wee search the cheapest protect aginst DOS and DDOS and other threats.

It is not possible for an owner to prevent or stop Distributed Denial Of Service attacks. Those that say you can don't know what a DDOS is.

This is an issue your ISP or internet provider works on, not the end users.

Our users want to use internet on our IPTV service (using STB), and wee don?t know how to protect our new service.

Hire a network god.

Your networking god will watch for DOS type attacks and tune/adjust your internet routers to dismiss attacks from IP ranges as needed.

Let me be blunt here. The amount of knowledge needed doesn't fit in this small space.
