There are plenty of text to speak software programs out there, but they do not always correctly pronounce words. I remember one package that pronounced "sometime" as "so-me-ti-me" ![]()
However, all is not lost. Look for GuruNet.
They have a commercial program with a 2 week trial, and they also have the unlimited time, but partial capability, package. I am using it right now, and I've had it for a couple of years. (It used to be called "Atomica.")
GuruNet is a research tool that will look up, with many different capabilities (very extensive library), for any word on the screen that you Alt-click on. One of those capabilities (and it remains in the free version) is that it will pronounce the word (uses a canned wav file, not some computer approximation.
hello, i'm wondering if there's a software i could download for free from the net, that acts like this. you type in a word, and it will say the word out. since study gets more harder, words also become hard, it's annoying sometimes when you say the word out but not right.
