They make very good projectors, well built and not priced way out there. Also look at Philips, their C-bright line was always good, plus they have very good support (at least up here in Canada) If you need to go lower than 4,000.00 there are a lot of other companies that offer projectors, a good site to look at is www.projectorcentral.com , I would also check bulb costs and estimated times that they should last. There have been many posts on this site about bulbs only costing 200.00, thats not true for all makes, I have replaced bulbs in inexpensive projectors that cost 500 - 800.00 and are only good for about 2000hrs.

I'm looking to purchase a projector for classroom use.I need to access some websites for online course the kids will be working on next year. Any advice on a projector that is pretty good to hook up to an old computer from my classroom-we use Windows 98 on our classroom computer (now you understand why I'm buying it since I work in public education) . I don't want to spend a lot of my own money but will use it at least twice a week for at least 4 hours a day. Any advice-keep in mind-young teenagers will be helping me with it.
