Most of the ones I've done are in the $400~600 range. But some big projectors have 2 or more lamps.
I think that mass production is bringing down the prices.
How many would they sell if the cost was $900 or more.
Ok, from the Panasonic web site a lamp for a PT50DL54J
DLP tv is $299 list.
So I guess this is a good thing for the people who buy them. John
I keep seeing references to LCD and DLP bulbs costing only a couple hundred. Are the bulbs used in the rear projection TV's that are lcd or dlp based really that cheap? I have replaced many projector bulbs over the years, and they have been from $600 - $10,000.00 I have yet to see a bulb for 200.00 - 400.00 which seems to be the numbers that people who post here quote.
