Re: system tray

This seems like the wrong forum for this question. It's not about an application, but about Windows XP. So you better try the XP forum.

Then also provide some detail, such as
- How you try to open such a program (I use double-click or choose the appropiate option from the right-click menu).
- The meaning of "sometimes". Only a few selected programs put themselves in the system tray (system notification area is the XP term, I think), so that seems correct.
- What happens if you double-click or right-click on the time in the lower right corner.
- What "can's see" means. Please give an example.

Hope this helps.

The System Tray is in the bottom right of the screen and all icons there are already running, they can't be ''opened''. You can right click them and see their propertiers/options. Are you talking about the Quick Start menu? The one to the left of the System Tray but not the Start button?

System Tray has an option to hide unused icons. Right click the System Tray and click Properties and take a look.
