programs off computer

I installed the program quickbooks on my computer and i cant find the cd anwhere. I need to reformat my hard drive because of registry problems that cant be fixed. Is there anyway i can copy the quickbook files from my computer and then paste them back on my Hard drive. For exmaple, move the program over to the D drive, and then when i reformat the C drive, copy it into that. Any help wouldbe appreciated.

It's more than just a few files, registry entries are made as well, with any program installation.

If you can prove you bought a copy, you can probably get replacement CDs for $20 or so. Might also want to check eBay, since you might be able to buy a whole new copy for less than that.

Programs create registry entries....

which are not mobile. Unless you copied the entire contents of the CD onto your hard drive(unlikely), you will need to find the disk.
