Programs in Windows Folder

Feb 6, 2004 5:56AM PST

Hi, I have a laptop running windows xp home. Under my windows folder I have a ton of folders which say $NtUninstalkB817778$, the beginning is the same but the numbers are different. Can I delete these files?

These are placed there as a result of downloading updates from M$, if you look in ADD/REMOVE you can match up the numbers, I have never deleted any so I cannot answer that question.

I don't intend to uninstall them so I delete them.

Thanks, I think I will delete them also, they are taking up a bit of space.
