Program to backup to CD w/Windows 2000

by calibarb / April 6, 2004 8:03 AM PDT

I have a T30 laptop w/builtin DVD/CDRW. I know that Win2k won't allow me to backup to CD. Can anyone recommend a cheap but good backup program? I need to back up my entire hw. While my hw is passing all diagnostics it is acting as if it has problems so I need to get a complete backup asap. Thanks for your help!

novastor is another.

I'd also suggest given the problem, you consider an external USB or firewire drive for frequent backups and the cost will be worth it in both time savings and speed of recovery and you get usable storage.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
