No. Here's why. I've yet to see people keep the CDs handy and even then, the CD ends up on the floor and chair runs over it.
The answer is simple housecleaning. Run disk cleanup and uninstall what you haven't used in a few months.
A bigger hard disk is also not a bad idea.
In closing, the one thing I find all the time is that people have their irreplacable pictures only on the hard disk... Bad idea. Hard disks are temporary storage. You want a copy of those pictures on BACKUP media. Mine fit on a pair of cheap CDRs.

Hi, everybody. I'm new to this forum and would appreciate if someone can help me with the following problem. Over the years I've installed quite a lot of programs on my computer (Intel Pentium III, processor 696 MHz, 256 RAM, XP Pro S1) and it's rather becoming a bit full. Isn't there a possibility to burn less frequently used programs to a CD and run them directly from the CD without having that program istalled on my computer ? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
