I find a lot of hits in google for macxw4.drv. It's not spyware, but related to your ATI video card. Which is quite in line with the occurrence during games and photo programs.

http://www.panoramafactory.com/trouble/trouble_16.html suggest reducing the hardware acceleration. It wouldn't harm to download the latest drivers either.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=242512 suggests the same. It's rather exceptional they treat such errors caused by software from other manufacturers.
