Program Download for opening a .xls file?

by DANNY101 / July 1, 2008 12:26 PM PDT

I received an Email with an attachment that is an .xls file. I do not want/have MS Office. Is there a small (I'm still on dial-up) program download that will allow me to open/view this file? Have Exp.6 XP SP2-media ed. 2005 . Thanks for anyone's help!

Thanks Kees, I will see if I can get that loaded to a small drive. I was able to open it by using various "Open With" options. It looked like a Spreadsheet and had a lot of ####. By changing the Type Size, I believe I got it (correct values in proper spaces). Thanks for your help. Dan
