Question

Product Spec is incorrect

Mar 14, 2017 7:52PM PDT

There is a product spec that is horribly wrong. The specs for Cisco Aironet 1142 series is showing a MTFB as 390000 seconds. That is calculated to only 108 hours. I'm pretty sure no one would want to buy a product that has a MTBF of 108 hours. In checking the Cisco datasheet the MTBF is actually 390,000 hours which is 16,250 days or a little over 44 years.

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/aironet-1130-ag-series/datasheet_c78-502793.html

Not sure where to put this to get this fixed, or if anyone cares.

Thanks,

Thank you for the call out!

We do care. The product specs are usually pulled from the manufacturer's data source, something must have went wrong here with the label. I agree no one would buy that product if it has a MTBF 108 hours... Grin

Let me forward it to our team who overlooks this to see if it can be corrected. Thank you again for the call out, we appreciate it!

Thanks very much for taking care of this.

I didn't realize my full email address was being shown.

I'm also glad the CNet Spec was incorrect. I had to look at the manufacturer spec because 108 hours didn't even seem close!

Thanks again.
