Problems with Windows Update

by bluelove73 / October 6, 2004 9:46 AM PDT

Hi. I had to repair my pc and now when I go to Windows Update, it says "Checking for the latest version of the Windows Update software..." but it doesn't do anything after that!

Whats wrong with it? What can I do to do what it's supposed to do? Help me fix it, please!

Thanks.

"Do i need to do all those things on the website?"

Only if they need to be done. You have to work through the information and use what you feel applies.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
