Question

problems with Win10 since yesterday

Oct 10, 2015 2:54AM PDT

When I started my WIn 10 laptop this morning I had problems:
- clicking on the lower left windows buttons does not open the menus (the windows button and the search button).
-clicking on the lower right buttons does not open the menus either (buttons for notifications, wi fi, etc. )

I was wondering of anybody had the same problems.

Answer
Yes. But it happened in 7 on my old laptop.

I rebooted and it worked. I wonder if my laptop has a failure that will soon just outright fail. If it does fail totally where the reboot (it's resuming from sleep) doesn't fix it, I'll boot up Linux just to be sure it's not a driver issue.

Happened to me once.

Tried rebooting several times with no joy, what fixed it was a hard shutdown. Hasn't happened since and still a mystery.
