problems with "webstats" from motigo

Nov 6, 2008 2:13AM PST

I work as webmaster, and I have several clients here in Peru. I always included the "webstats" link from Motigo company in order to track visitiors (although It was netstats long time ago). But lately, everytime a website where I included the link is called from any web browser, the "webstats" link calls for some websites that has a kind of malware that make webbrosers close or freeze.
Anyone of you have the same problem? I'm planning to delete the link from the websites I handle because really is making the situation complicated for y clients, and they are calling me asking to solve the problem.
Sad because I was using the link for years but, no option after all.
Eduardo Rios.
