Problems with System Clock

Feb 28, 2005 10:15AM PST

My system clock (on the systray) runs about 11 hrs late, everytime I reset the time and apply the correct settings...but when I work again, I find the clock running late.

Can anyone help me..? Thanks in advance.

Two things

What OS does it have? Do you have a DSL or cable internet connection? If you have XP with a broadband connection, the clock can sync automatically when you turn on the PC. But, losing time might be caused by a weak BIOS battery. These are usually easily replaced by the user and cost only a couple bucks.

System Clock problem

Thanks Steve, the System Clock problem is fixed. It was to do with a freeware that I use to switch between different IPs that I have and one of them did not take my local country time, but instead inherited US (EST) timings.
