Have you checked the mp3 tags? If the file is a licensed file it may not be authorized for transfer to another computer or device. I have run into that with sansa e260 & e280 players. If you can strip the license data from the tags that may solve your problem.
Hope this helps.

I have a 4gb sansa fuze and it won't let me transfer certain songs. I've tried repeatedly to transfer songs by several artists and it always tells me that access was denied for some reason. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know of a solution? I'd very much rather not have to format my player and transfer everything again. I'm running xp if that makes any difference.
Another problem I've been having is that my preferred headphones are the sennheiser hd280s. Occasionally I'll hear a clicking noise over the headphones instead of music. Adjusting the headphones (maily by pulling them out slightly) seems to resolve this problem temporarily. I do not have this problem with a pair of akg k26p headphones I also have. Those have a straight plug while the hd280s have a screw-type plug. Not sure if that's the cause, but I seem to recall hearing that the rio carbon from way back had a similar problem with headphones with screw-type plugs.
