Problems with new computer??

Dec 5, 2016 1:49PM PST

I just got an HP pavilion510-p030 desktopcomputer, and I have
several problems related to Win10 I believe.
1. The task bar icons are very small. I was able to increase the size of the desktop icons thru the control panel
2. I've installed Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome as Web browsers, and at times they wont open. I've had to the other one
to open it. An intermittent problem.
3 If I'm away from machine for a few minutes,it shuts down and I
have to enter password again
Any help would be greatly appreciated

For point 3: in Control Panel (or the settings app in Windows 10) check the Power plan settings for the hibernate or standby times.

I don't know what "small" is, but to go to taskbar setting and make sure "use small taskbar button" is off.
