Problems with ipodder on Ubuntu

I am having trouble with ipodder and Buzz out loud on Ubuntu (Linux). The problem is that when it downloads the file, it it named something similar to:

cnetbuzz_052406.mp3&ctype=podCast&cval=BuzzOutLoud;052406

In a blank document. I think it has something to do with the redirection.

It would be great if someone could help me work this out.

(PS, What is the point of the redirection anyway?)
