Question

problems with Firefox Quantum ?

Dec 8, 2017 8:56PM PST

I have a Lenovo tablet, with Intel i5. I have used Mozilla Firefox for years and haven't had any problems, until Quantum was installed. Now it is totally unusable. It stops at almost every key stroke for 30 to 40 seconds before going to next move. I can type a paragraph blindly and have to wait at least 30 seconds for the paragraph to show up. I have re-installed and have installed with add-ons disabled, to no avail. Have had to resort to the worthless Internet Explorer. Anyone else have this problem?

Can you go back to FF 56?

Stay with what works.

I tried FF 57 but too many of my add-ons came up busted.
So I just went back to FF 56 and locked it.
When/if the add-ons get updated I'll try FF 57 again.
