Can you try to install it again?
by Kees Bakker / April 6, 2005 5:34 AM PDT

If that fails also, tell more about that (what happens, error message, your OS, etc).

If you've got Windows XP, can you do a system restore? It can even be done from the Recovery Console, if necessary.

Hope this helps.

.NET framework
by stonehkm / April 6, 2005 8:59 AM PDT

If you are not a developer or programmer writing software, delete .NET frame work...you don't need it!
Other critical updates, however, should not be affected. System and OS info needed please.

Larry, You Can Try Installing It Manually
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / April 6, 2005 9:08 AM PDT

First, which operating system are you using?

Next, because we require NET Framework, I downloaded the full installer for SP1 and used that to install. The download is fairly large, about 10 MB, so set aside enough time for the download. If your current computer won't work to download it, download the file at another computer, burn it to a CD, then transfer it to the problem machine. Here's the link for that file:

Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack

I believe the installation will need to be done in "normal" Windows.

Hope this helps.

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
