I have been able to use windows explorer on my Zen XTRA with no problem. I can see the device and open to all of the file just as if it were a drive or folder in windows. I also copy from ripped files using this method as well. I found the software very easy, stable and reasonably swift. I downloaded the new drivers and app software though from Nomadworld.com. Hopefully this assists you in your problem.
hi! im new here on cnet!,
i have a problem its the NOMADexplorer software im using with my creative zen touch. Firstly the program is very slow...and secondly i have been trying to transfer data from one pc to another. Anyway i think an error developed whilst copying the files on the mp3 player as the battery ran out half way through. However when i plug the player into the pc as i want to delete that data file it takes ages to load the data library and then when i get to the file that i transferred, the program crashes and the player goes to a stand still...so i unplug the usb, instead i try to delete the file by repluggin in the player in again and thats fine however if i go back to the data library the file is still there! i want that file gone as its rather large. Ive only had this player since last tuesday..is there an error on it or is it the software????? pls can any1 help as im wondering whether to send it back or warranty it...
