Problems with connecting to internet after formatting.

Jul 12, 2007 11:32AM PDT

Hey everyone, I currently just formatted my other computer. The only problem that I have currently is that it will not connect to the internet. The eithernet cable lights up at the back of the computer but there is nothing on XP saying it is there. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it greatly!

Thanks

Microsoft doesn't supply motherboard and more drivers. So tell us about your drivers.

Hello - go to My computer, right-click, then Properties/hardware/device manager/network adapters. See if any of the devices have a red X or a yellow exclamation mark or any other sign that something is wrong. If necessary click on the device and check or click "enable". Hope this helps - Amos
