It has a note about Vista.
I did some searching but was unable to find this answer for a laptop with vista.
I recently bought a router and it works very well for both my laptop and even for my xbox live connection. The problem is with my girlfriends laptop, who also set up the router. She has Vista on her Dell and I'm not sure if that could be part of the problem. At her house she never had a problem connecting wirelessly in the past (but I am hesitant if the person who came to set up our modem with our comcast triple play touched anything to mess up her connection, but I don't think this is the case).
Her computer will work (usually) when it is plugged in to our router with the wire, but it often bumps everything else off including my laptop and off if it is plugged into the network. On occasion, and not usually it will work on her laptop for example to load a single webpage but then it will immediately drop the wireless connection. We may get onto one but then it is immediately disconnected again.
Most of the time you can see the connection available but you cannot connect, it will often give messages of "Limited Connectivity or Limited Access."
Please help.. is she there a setting incorrectly set up on her laptop? Distance is not an issue as both laptops are within a few feet of the router. Thank you in advance.
