but you seem to be confused re non Livemail option.
You CAN NOT currently access Hotmail via OE. To access now, you must go via your browser to Livemail sign in an use your Hotmail addie & password as user name & password there.
You can still use OE to access ISP Mail & perhaps G-Mail? Yahoo! Mail?
" This means that from June 30, 2008 onward you will no longer be able to access your Hotmail account(s) using Outlook Express. (Vista's Windows Mail is natively incapable of supporting Hotmail accounts.)
Windows XP 32-bit Users:
Microsoft recommends downloading Windows Live Mail, the free e-mail client designed as the successor to Outlook Express. All e-mail and contacts can be imported automatically, and both Outlook Express and Windows Live Mail can be used simultaneously if you wish.

Unfortunately Windows Live Mail is not supported by any operating system except for Windows XP x86 and Windows Vista. Thus, after June 30, 2008 you will be forced to access your Hotmail e-mail accounts through the webmail interface at http://mail.live.com unless a third-party steps in with an alternative e-mail client that supports the new DeltaSynch protocol."
Hope this clears some confusion. Good Luck!
Hi, I was hoping not to have a query so soon after my last, but... I've just been trying unsuccessfully to attach photos from Adobe and 'My Pictures' on Windows XP to a Hotmail email.
A few months ago I received the following message-
Dear Windows Live Hotmail Customer,
