These are just like our PCs. We must backup and be able to restore our stuff.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. Android OS 5 AT&T
Every time that I attempt to upgrade to install the new AT&T upgrade, it fails. The error message says that it was interrupted, even though I was in Wi-Fi range. I have tried it multiple, multiple times. Anyone have an idea what could be interrupting it & how I can fix it?
I don't know if any of the software that I have downloaded could be running in the background & somehow interrupting it? Is there any way to put the phone in some sort of "Safe Mode" so that only the necessary software is running? I have tried to force quit the Avast Mobile Security before I start the install, but that hasn't helped. Is it necessary to uninstall an app to get it to truly stop? I would rather uninstall multiple apps & then reinstall them rather than having to do a factory reset which would force me to have to re-do all of the settings on my phone.
The biggest problem that I have right now is that G-mail will not send mail. I don't know what caused this all of a sudden & don't know if the AT&T upgrade will fix it, but I'm worried that there are other bug fixes or security fixes that I'm missing.
