Convert the MP3 to Wavs to avoid MP3 split errors.
Your choice, but it works for me.
Again, there are those that will not call this a solution, but I'm done and they are complaining.
Bob
I am trying to split an mp3 and then join another shorter track but i keep getting the same problem - the joined file has the correct track length but when it is played the join occurs 10 seconds after when it should be and then 10 seconds is cut off the end of the track.
For info im starting with a file 79m 57s in length which is split down to 79:35. Im then joining a file 4:35 in length onto the end. The joined file is 84:10 as youd expect but it seems to continue playing beyond the split to around 79:46 and then the join occurs.
I have tried all manner of splitting and joining software but i get the same problem everytime.
Anybody know whats causing this?
