because if you mean you have installed the windows 8 Beta then you should be discussing this on the Beta forum Microsoft has especially for Windows 8 beta testers.

If you mean Internet Explorer 8 and have Vista or Windows 7 as your Operating System then tell us a bit more about your actual Internet Connection - wired or wireless and is wired it it direct to the modem or through a router and if through a router the make and model and how you set it up as some have bandwidth throttling that may be at fault.

If this is connected wirelessly check to see that you are actually connected to your own home router as you might have connected to a neighbor's (for instance this is common if you never turned the router radio on as many are off by default) which would likely be limited by distance.

Get as SPECIFIC as you can, including the URL to one or two of the specific videos you are having problems with as it could also be a problem closer to the server end of the equation.

I am a newbies so hang with me.( 1.) Wind 8, should have been Internet Exp. 8: ( 2.) Operating system, Windows 7 (home edition):
(3.) Wired to a Comcast Modem connected to a Cisco Linksys Dual Band Wireless Router.
When on the internet all Videos that I try to play (Youtub, Movies from comcast and others), will start playing and then freeze the picture is there, but no sound or movement. Then after a few second the video will continue from where it stop and then it will freeze again and so on. Brokeback6

Or ...

it means a too slow connection. What does a speedtest say? For example: http://www.speedtest.net

Or maybe it's a slow CPU, a busy CPU or your antivirus scanning the stream. Tell us the top 5 processes (+ percent) when you look at such a video (use the processes tab in Task Manager).
