Problems loading CNET latest News Pages

Apr 23, 2011 12:06PM PDT

Not long ago when I use to read the news pages I was able to easily navigate my way through the page headlines as there were page numbers down the bottom of each page of headlines.
This function seems to have bene replaced with a more graphical intense page format with a "see more news" arrow at the bottom of the page.
Everytime I click on a headline of interest I always seem to end up at the start of the headlines when I page back rather than at the last place I was at.
This is extremely frustrating! Am I doing something wrong or is a memory issue?
I am using a Lenovo IdeaPad S10e (Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz)with 1GB Ram running Win XP and IE8.
I figured 1GB Ram would be ok as CNET say that a minimum of 512K is sufficient for the site. Any help much appreciated!
