I followed the advice given in respect of freeing up virtual memory has left me unable to play some of my games. Can anyone please help me to be able to do this again. I really do not want to do a system restore.
Thank you
Pamela

My programmes were already installed on the pc and the games did not come with a disk but thanks for the help i will certainly look into this possibility
Browse through the contents of the system recovery discs that either came with the PC or you were prompted to burn after the initial setup and you should find the installers. The manufacturer may also have included a utility from which you can easily choose which programs to repair/reinstall.
As to the games, you should be able to download a fresh copy from the creator's website.
