Problems after installing driver (GTX 660)

Mar 21, 2018 6:15AM PDT

Hello!
So for some time now my PC has severe problems with graphics, from running games (reaching from Dark souls 3 to card games) to CAD programms, it performs very badly. After trying out different solutions, I found out, that uninstalling, rebooting and installing the graphics driver makes any problems disappear. But the next time I start up the PC all the prblems are back. Therefore I came to the conclusion that the problems were tied to the driver(?).
Some specs for the PC:
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
CPU: AMD fx 8350
SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
HDD: WD10 1000GB
RAM: 8GB
OS: Windows 10 x64

I hope someone can help me in this case and maybe suggest some solutions.
Thank you

Install the proper driver and verify the machine functions.

Look in device manager and see what driver it shows for your gpu.

Reboot.

If the problem is back look in device manager and see what driver is shown for the gpu.
