Problem with WMP 10

I have Windows XP with Windows Media Player 10 and it's always worked fine but I've done something and now there is a white highlight over most of my songs under "All Music". If I sort the songs by "Date Added" the highlight is on every other one. I have about 1,247 songs under "All Music". How can I get rid of this white highlight so I can see all of my songs?
