The button is standard for the line.

Check your spec sheet.

acer bluetooth VoIP phone

but in the book i received says: options and accessories__acer bluetooth VoIP phone
doesn't this mean that i have bluetooth?

It means it's an option.

Not a standard one but one you have to add. The button is in all the machines so it's ready when you add the card.

so,let's say that i want to copy a song from my computer to my phone. can i do it or do i have to do something else before that?

sorry for bothering you so much, but i really don't know much about this type of things__as you can see for yourself :-d

As you suspect, many things are needed.
Nov 1, 2007 3:39AM PDT

1. A connection to the phone. (doesn't matter if bluetooth, usb, etc.)
2. Software to do that transfer.
3. A phone that supports such.

Sorry about this being a generic answer but your phone support line/website should be more specific.

nokia 6300__it has bluetooth
Nov 1, 2007 10:08PM PDT

i need some clarifications:
1.a connection to the phone__what does that mean exactly
2.software to do that transfer: i have to download from the internet a program who can help me transfer music and other stuff, using the bluetooth? and if so, how do i jnow wich program is the best or at least compatible?
3.nokia 6300 has bluetooth__i've transfered a song from another phone to my own, so it's sure that it work

So close.

1. You need a connection. Bluetooth, etc. Given the 10 dollar dongles I'd get one. But I picked up this one since it was smaller than normal and "works" with Vista, the Acer without having to find drivers. It was 20 bucks. See http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=BTA-3210-EDR

-> I DID NOT USE THE SUPPLIED DRIVER!!! It just works. I like that.

2. Software -> http://europe.nokia.com/A4144905

3. That's good to hear. It means you may succeed.

2 and 3 done !!!!

2.this is the software for the phone_i got this on a cd when i bought the phone
1.this it what hurts me the most, what i don't undestand. i have to buy somethig(a bluetooth adapter), insert it in an usb port and this is the only way that i can use the bluetooth?

Or...

You can order the option from Acer. I fear it would be more costly than my double the price adapter.

empty

so i finally get it: i have the button, but i don't have the hardware to support that button? it's like an empty shell

Yup.

I have 2 Acers without the bluetooth option. Both have buttons. I can see why they do that. To send out the option and ask the owner to pry off a plastic panel to drop the button in would be a bit much.
