Question

Problem with Samsung TV HLR5067WAA/XAA

I just bought a used Samsung (model shown in title.) When I hook it up to cable, I get green and purple wide vertical lines. Any idea what may be causing this? If I use the TV to view DVDs it works fine.

Could some COMPONENT VIDEO connections be in use?

I can't see the image but how is the DVD is connected as well?
