Clarification Request
Does it give any messages?

Often when these 'manager' or control panel' windows display, they do so for a reason. Is there a message in this window? If so, what does it say?

Does your sound work well anyway? If not, perhaps the window is telling you about a fault.

What happens if you don't plug in the headphones?

I'm wondering if there is a problem with that headphone connection to the computer, and it keeps popping out slightly.
