problem with ntdll.dll in widnows98

by fooczusia / December 15, 2004 5:25 AM PST

Hi, I try to install Maya 6.0 on my computer (Windows 98) but I get the message: "msi.dll is not linked, missing export ntdll.dll:NtQueryInformationProcess". I do not know what's wrong. Could you help me, please?

It probably refers to MSI installer, which can be searched for and found at Microsoft, or one of the gurus will give you the link. A lot of newer software/applications require this to install. OR, you already have it and it doesn't like Maya. I'm not sure that "safe mode" would allow install ok and the uninstall option. The Maya website may give you a clue.
The message is saying that either MSI isn't installed, or is installed and can't do the install.
