actarus69,
I don't have an answer or response, unfortunately. The best source of information would be the repair facility, as they're able to see what I can't. You noted that you tried hooking up the game console directly to the television - have you adjusted the settings so that a constant resolution (720, 1080, etc) is set?

Hello!
I would like to have someone at Samsung that could give an answer about a problem that popped up after my newly bought (two months) Le46a856 has gone to technical assistance for a burned out motherboard.
In fact, after it came back from the techs it suffer from blue screen more often than not. In a ratio of 4 times on five, it will not lock the signal from the source, a PS3 that goes through a DVDO Iscan HD+, but in a passthrough mode, so without the dvdo intervention on signal.
I must say that after dozen of swith on and off with television, ps3 and dvdo sometimes I can catch the image, and once on the screen it remains there until I turn off the tv and all the others appareil, but the problem is still there when I come back to turn them on again.
It goes like this even with my ps3 hooked directly to the tv, so the problem, even keeping in mind that with the same configuration all was okay before going at the local technical assistance, must be with the tv.
My chain, as I said before, is a PS3 connected via DVI to a DVDO Iscan HD+ that pass through the signal, then via a DVI cable with HDMI adapter to the HDMI port on the Samsung.
What can I do to solve this? Must I get back the tv to the technical assistance?
Thanks very much in advance, and best regards.
Dazzi Michele.
