by Steve16 / October 24, 2005 6:58 AM PDT

Basically for months now my Internet Explorer hasn't been working at all. But my Netscape has been working. How weird is that? What's been going on?

Please provide us with more information, including the symptoms (does IE provide an error message, simply not start, display distorted pages, etc), what operating system and version of IE you use, and what you do for malware (particularly spyware) protection. Anything you can tell us will help us diagnose and solve your problem.

If you can run it, try this:

1. EWIDO from

2. IEFIX from

Great move to Netscape. I applaud anyone that can do without IE. Why? Just tired of far too many damaged OSes.

Basically when I double click on it the page opens up and says the page cannot be displayed. And my internet connection is working fine because Netscape is working but not IE.
