You can buy the 'duplex accessory' mentioned in http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/ho/WF06b/18972-236251-64340-15100-f12-305382-305384-305385.html, which would certainly solve the problem.
The printer settings are saved inside a document. If you change them and then close the document, Word should notice that it's changed and ask if you want to save the document. If you do that, you should be rid of the message for that document. Doesn't that work?
Problem with MS-Word printing;
I played around with duplex printing and tried to setup the feature in ?Print / Properties / Finishing (Document Options) ? Print Both Sides? option only to find out that module was not installed for my printer (hp photosmart 7960).
Now I can?t get rid of the option. I have to go into almost all of my documents and cancel the option before I can print.
I thought it might have been a template problem so I went in to ever incident of ?Normal.dot? ? changed the option and resaved the template. That seems to have solved the problem for the most part for new documents.
When I to to print a pre-existing document I get a message "Automatic Two-sided Printing Module Missing"
I am using an hp photosmart 7960 printer.
However, when I go into a pre-existing document I have to go through the same old routine.
