reconnecting your mp3. If that doesn't work, try another port and if this fails to work restart your computer and try reconnecting again. You should also try reinstalling the drivers and software for your device. What mp3 player is it? And what are your computer specs?

well itz a sandisk sansa m200 series.. im pretty sure it isn't my computer because i tried it on my friends comp, and it still didnt work.
do you think if i try the reset button it will be fixed?
theres a reset all function.. do you think it will reset it and i can readd songs over?
Most have web sites where they have either FAQ sections or areas where reoccuring problems are discussed.
Try them first before you blindly go pushing buttons. You do not want to be one of those poor schmucks that post that their 1GB player has only 109 MB after they formated it.
Its a sandisk m200 series.. i didnt contact them.. mainly because they want me to sign up for something.... if someone wants to do it for me.. ill be happy
