Problem with MotoROKR S9-HD

I have a problem and would like to hear your thoughts.

For several years I have been using Motorola's S9 headsets in my business and personal life, but not for what you might think. This is a bluetooth head set that can be used to hear music, talk on the phone and such.

I have used it to listen to articles that I do not have time to read. I turn the articles into PDFs scan them into Text Aloud and turn them into MP3s. This has become a very important part of my personal and business life.

The problem is that the first one stopped working after about 2 years and I bought the HD version. It came from China in pieces and stopped working in about 3 months. Thinking it was a cheap knock off I bought another HD model and it stopped after about 6 months.

I need a good bluetooth head set that is loud enough to hear on planes and while mowing. Is this headset just junk? Am I doing something wrong? Should I try another Motorola S9?

I really need some direction here?

Thank you!
