Problem with library and new update of iTunes

I just updated iTunes to 9.1 and all my podcasts and music have disappeared from the lists in the interface. Are they gone permanently, if not where are they and how do I get them back?

Check the iTunes library

in your Music folder.

They are probably around somewhere.
