Just a question.

Why no make, model and story?

This issue could easily be a driver, or the usual DV6000 model. But without the details, guesses are likely to be incorrect.

Pixel issue

I can't recall having seen a driver create that sort of issue, looks to me to be physical damage similar to one I saw a while back, woman's child poking at LCD with fingers, quite similar.

Then wait.

Eventually you will. It's a shame the other details are missing as some models have issues. And it's rare for folk to know about Windows and drivers. There are tests but given the sparse information any guess is a bad one.

Your guess will be the best so far since you have more details than what I read here.

you need to give us the make and SPECIFIC MODEL of the laptop

Failing that you might want to check the resolution and refresh rate you have it set for as anything other than the native resolution can cause artifacts.
