there are two types of account... one for the website and for the forum. Other than that, you should be able to access all the members-only content.

I decided to check out Joomla. I registered, got the verification link in the email, I clicked on that, which took me to a page which looked similar to a wiki page. I was apparently logged in. I clicked on the forum link on the left side, and it seemed I had to sign in, yet again. I put my pseudonym in plus my password, but got all kinds of error messages, such as the password not being correct, or captcha code incorrect (I'm paraphrasing a bit). I discovered that I had to downsize my page in order to see the entire code, and even then, I couldn't tell when I was looking at a "O" or a "0".
Do I have to register for every part of Joomla? Doesn't make sense to me. Oh BTW, I saw a link to administraters, copied the email address and got a sense of foreboding when I saw it was "no_reply_forum@joomla.org."
