Test email address = yourname@yourhost.com

The addresses of the email servers and such look to be incorrect. As this is pretty technical, I'm a little take aback you didn't change those to a valid server.

No one can know that!

In reply to: Problem with IndigoMail

My email server can't be your server. This is something you must know since everyone has their own service.

Do you have a programmer you can sit down and have them explain this? It won't fit in this small space but at least you know why it didn't work.

Hi,
Thanks for replying again. I have found it wont work. I have tried using gmail smtp. They say this program doesnt support gmail. I have tried my ptcl isp's smtp also but its also not working. Is there any another program which can help me to send email compliant with perl and supporting gmail?? I have windows 7 , active perl and i5 machine.

Sorry but I can't know that either.

In reply to: Problem with IndigoMail

Your ISP's email is not my ISP's email is not Gmail and so on.

However I see you have learned more and maybe it's back to doing more research on google (I don't do that for folk as they have been getting upset when you google it for them!) by trying phrases or a question like this.

-> How do I send email via perl using gmail.com?

But it looks like you only tried one script. I see about a dozen scripts out there in the less than 20 line variety.
