problem with IE

Sep 27, 2004 9:25AM PDT

I've been on here b4 about this - I won't go into detail now - I just want an opinion on me removing Ie and using another browser to download it I think it is the only way I can get it to work properly.
Thanks in advance.

I'll be quick...

1. Don'r remove IE. You need it for Windows Update.

2. Install what you want for the browser and accept it's "use me as the default"

I did this to the kids (and wife) machine and it's been sweeeet. Adaware, Spybot have been coming clean so I don't worry as I used to.

Bob; you must have misunderstood me - I intended to download IE with the Mozilla browser after I have removed the IE that I have now. It has some kind of flukey problem in it that I can't find. I would do as you suggest with it, but I like to use Mozilla for everything except the updates. Make sense?
