Hello I have a Samsung LN32A550P3R and when I connect the xbox 360 via A/V cable I can use it, but when I connect the xbox via hdmi, it just doesnt recognize it just says searching for signals, I tried the xbox via hdmi on another samsung tv and it works great so I think it is a problem with my tv, I conect via hdmi to my tv an hd-dvr and it works great but I just cant get the tv to display the xbox 360, please any help would be greatly apreciated.

langostinotino,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue.

There are two possible things that you could try:

1. Change the resolution in the game console by connecting it to the different TV that does work to see if it's a resolution issue. 720p would be a safe bet, as would 1080i. At least see if you can get a picture using one of those modes.

2. For the TV, select the HDMI input that you're using with the game console, and go into the menu and edit the name by scrolling down to the INPUT menu. Select Edit Input Name, choose your HDMI input and change the name from "----" to "Game" to see if that helps.

Keep me posted.

langostinotino,

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble.

If that still doesn't help, then you may need to have your television inspected and serviced. You can call 800-SAMSUNG or fill out the online service request form here:
